History

Founded in 2013, DIBIA Dream provides a safe place after school with caring, responsible adults and engaging activities. DIBIA Dream was created with athletes in underserved communities in mind. Its programs use sports as an instrument to teach life skills, promote mentorship, active participation, and exposure to diverse opportunities through its 5 Pillar program that includes instruction on:

EDUCATION

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) education is essential to foster the next generation of innovation in the world. Dream STEM will use our education & scholarship program to develop our youth with intangible skills to compete in today’s market.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

It’s never too early to begin forging healthy lifetime habits. DREAM H&W believes it’s our duty to work with local youth, families, and schools to bring about a healthier future for the young people in our community.

FINANCIAL LITERACY

Dream FL helps students easily grasp the essentials of personal finance, gives them multiple opportunities to practice core skills and showcases the real-world impact of the financial decisions they make.

MENTORSHIP

Through DREAM partnerships with corporate professionals, we will address the social, economical, cultural and emotional needs of today’s youth through our Mentorship program.

SPORTS

Our sports program provides students with a positive team concept and a method for developing their physical and social skills through sports engagement. Students in grades 3-6 participate in year-round sports, which include flag football, basketball, softball and soccer competitions.

Through DIBIA Dream, students practice reading, writing, math and science. Students also receive assistance with homework, have a safe place to learn after school when their parents are usually unavailable, and most importantly, learn from positive role models who inspire our students to excel. Serving over 400 at-risk youth from Miami, New Orleans and Bermuda, Dream aspires to cultivate great stewards in the global community.
