STEM Lead Enhancement Coordinator

The STEM Lead Enhancement Coordinator is responsible for all STEM activities, by ensuring all STEM kits are available prior to programs/events. The STEM Lead Enhancement Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation, monitoring, and assessment of STEM programming and curriculum. Additionally, the STEM Lead Enhancement Coordinator will train the Dibia DREAM staff and volunteers on the various STEM activities when needed.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  1. Work with Director of Operations to ensure all STEM activity inventory has been ordered.
  2. Review all planned STEM activities with Teaching Fellows and confirm there are no questions.
  3. Prepare to teach all planned STEM activities with an age appropriate approach.
  4. Participate in Staff meetings as needed.
  5. Assist with recruiting STEM College Interns.

STEM Lead Enhancement Coordinator must have an ability to:
Plan, organize, and coordinate multiple activities; design, create, and implement use of resources. Prioritize and execute a wide range of projects simultaneously. Work independently, assume responsibility, and take initiative in carrying out assignments. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Special Requirements

  • Professional Educator’s Certificate or DCF certification
  • DCF certificate must be obtained within 30 days of employment
  • Experience that indicates a sensitivity to and an understanding of, the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of K-12 students and personnel
  • Reliable transportation
